Ella Claire is a mixed-media fine artist and tattooer based in Barrie, Ontario. She began tattooing at 17 and has been working in the medium for four years. She recently completed a diploma in visual arts at Sheridan College.

Painting (oil, acrylic, and watercolour) and tattooing are her primary mediums. Her work is grounded in realist technique and drawn toward surreal, expressive framing. Across mediums, she returns to the same thread: the human condition.
